Nate Diaz is of Mexican and English descent. He was born in Stockton, California, to a Mexican-American mother and an English-American father. Diaz is proud of his Mexican heritage and often incorporates it into his public persona and fighting style. His brother, Nick Diaz, is also a professional mixed martial artist and shares the same ethnic background.
